ESP32-CAM PSRAM is an upgraded version of PSRAM of ESP32-CAM module. The module adopts the ESP32 low-power solution, integrated wifi and bluetooth, the module can be operated independently as the smallest system, the module is equipped with an OV2640 camera by default, and with the powerful performance of ESP32, it can reach up to 30 FPS in the VGA format. The most notable feature of this upgrade is the addition of 8M (bytes) of external RAM, which enables it to take higher-pixel pictures to meet the needs of more users, and it can also support Espressif’s (espressif) after adding PSRAM Face recognition framework ESP-WHO. At the same time, the MPU6886 gyroscope (optional welding with reserved pads) is also added to this upgraded version, which significantly expands its functionality and is suitable for various IoT and smart device occasions.

USB : CH552
Automatic download circuit, with E8051 core compatible with MCS51 instruction set, the average instruction speed is 8-15 times faster than standard MCS51, ESP32-CAM module uses CH552T to realize automatic download circuit, and it can be easily programmed and debugged on ESP32 with USB.
CMOS : OV2640 Camera
Provides the complete functions of a single-chip JXGA (1632×1232) camera and image processor. Through the serial camera control bus (SCCB) interface, it provides full-frame sampling, zooming or windowing 8-bit/10-bit images in multiple formats. The best image distance is 20-250CM.
Dual power supply mode: USB and external battery
Reserve the battery solder joints. The battery is not equipped by default. Users can connect a 3.7v lithium ion battery by themselves. The module is equipped with an IP5306 power management chip to detect the battery’s power/charge status. Double-click the reset button in the battery-powered mode Turn off, click the reset button to turn on.
HY2.0 cable interface
A HY2.0 cable interface is reserved, which is mounted on the internal I2C bus, so that it can achieve multi-function through I2C expansion to meet different application scenarios.
