Ball lens cap is secured with optical cement and may be removed (pliers and vice needed) to give open-can diode.

The ball lens projects a large spot, for a small spot the ball lens can be removed and a normal focusing lens used.

BRAND NEW Nichia NUBM08 445nm 4.75W+ Watt 9mm Laser Diode. The diodes are meticulously extracted from a new laser diode array.

This is a 455nm 4.75w blue laser diode extracted from brand new nichia nubm08 38w 455nm bank.

it has long cap with lens, two welded long pins–not cut pins.

the cw output we tested in our lab is 4.75w-5.5w, while the pulse output can reach 8.5w-9.5w.

we normally use it in our engraving laser modules.

1. Laser engraving modules normally.  It can engrave wood, plastic and furs but not for metal. RGB lasers will cut/engrave/mark on materials not reflect light.
