The acousto-optic deflector is a device developed based on the principle that the beam is incident and injected into the medium with acoustic waves to be deflected. When the incident light undergoes periodic changes in the refractive index of the medium under the action of ultrasonic waves, it will be deflected in one or more directions. The deflection angle can be precisely controlled by controlling the frequency of the RF driver.
The acousto-optic deflector uses TeO2 crystal as the acousto-optic medium, and through high-quality crystals, the deflector has low insertion loss and high damage threshold. At the same time, the consistency of diffraction efficiency and power in the full scan angle range is ensured.
